
The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has announced new job openings for its Modern Nursery Project, aimed at enhancing urban greenery through a commercially-driven horticulture model. The authority is inviting applications for both managerial and technical positions on a contract basis, with an initial duration of two years—extendable based on performance.
The initiative marks a significant step in CDA s efforts to professionalize urban landscaping and environmental management. The project promises a structured work environment with opportunities for career growth.
Positions Available
According to the official announcement, the following roles are open for recruitment:
- Senior Manager
- Manager
- Assistant Managers
- AutoCAD Operators
- Supervisors
- Operators
- Tree Transplanters
- Helpers
These positions are designed to support both the planning and operational aspects of the nursery, which is being developed as a commercially viable model for large-scale tree plantation and landscaping.
Application Process
Candidates interested in applying must submit their applications online through the official CDA website. The application must include:
- Scanned copies of educational qualifications
- Experience letters
- CNIC
- Recent passport-size photograph
CDA has clearly stated that incomplete applications will not be entertained.
Important Deadline
The last date to apply is October 9, 2025. Applicants who previously responded to the May 18, 2025 advertisement do not need to reapply, as their earlier submissions will be considered during shortlisting.
Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for further evaluation, which may include written tests and interviews. The CDA also clarified that no TA/DA (travel allowance/daily allowance) will be provided to candidates during the recruitment process.
