Former Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari deemed Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to a “Temu version” of Israeli PM Netanyahu, suggesting that Modi was imitating Israel’s most controversial policies.

During a press conference at the United Nations Headquarters, Bilawal gave these witty remarks. "Mr Modi is sort of the Temu version of Netanyahu. So, like a poor copy. We call upon the Indian government not to be inspired by the worst examples possible," Bilawal Bhutto added.

Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) chairman, currently leading a high-level diplomatic delegation, is in New York as part of Pakistan’s ongoing efforts to raise global awareness about what it describes as India’s unilateral aggression and escalating hostilities, particularly in Kashmir.

“India seems to be following Israel’s playbook — but badly,” Bilawal said. “Modi is trying to emulate Netanyahu, but with far less finesse — a Temu version at best,” he added, referencing the budget online retailer as a metaphor for imitation lacking substance.

The former foreign minister also reiterated Pakistan’s position on the need for sustained international engagement in South Asia, warning that the absence of meaningful dialogue between two nuclear-armed neighbours poses a grave risk to global peace.
