(Web Desk): Multiple attacks in Balochistan by BLA-backed terrorists were foiled as Pakistan security forces swiftly neutralized threats, keeping the province safe.

Pakistan’s security forces successfully thwarted a series of coordinated terrorist attacks across Balochistan on Wednesday, ensuring public safety and maintaining control in key areas. The attacks, branded “Herof 2.0” by the perpetrators, targeted police, Frontier Corps (FC) posts, and civilian settlements but failed due to swift and effective countermeasures.

According to official sources, the attacks were orchestrated by the Fitna-al-Hindustan (FAH) network, linked to the banned Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) and backed by foreign sponsors. Despite propaganda circulated by FAH-linked media and certain Indian outlets, the attacks caused no major damage.

Multiple Targets, Effective Response
In Quetta’s Saryab Road, terrorists attacked a police van but were repelled by police and reinforced FC units, resulting in four terrorists killed. In Nushki, an attempted raid on the FC Headquarters failed as alert troops forced attackers to retreat.

Dalbandin witnessed explosions near the FC Headquarters, while Kalat’s Deputy Commissioner office and police lines were also targeted. Security forces contained the attacks with no major injuries, sustaining only minor casualties among 2–3 personnel.

Further attacks on Pakistan Coast Guards facilities in Pasni and labor settlements in Gwadar were promptly neutralized. Additional grenade and distant fire assaults on posts in Balicha, Tump, Mastung, and Kharan were also repelled, highlighting the efficiency of Pakistan’s security apparatus.

Foreign-Linked Terrorist Leadership
Responsibility for the attacks lies with BLA leaders Bashir Zeb Baloch, Allah Nazar, and exiled Harbiyar Marri, who operate from outside Pakistan, primarily Afghanistan. Both BLA and BLac are proscribed terrorist organizations in Pakistan, with BLA also designated a Foreign Terrorist Organization by the U.S.

Security analysts note that while foreign leaders remain safe, Baloch youth are repeatedly pushed into high-risk operations, resulting in their deaths. Misrepresented casualties in propaganda networks further exaggerate the narrative of enforced disappearances and supposed Baloch victimhood.

Failure of ‘Herof 2.0’
The “Herof 2.0” campaign exposed weak planning and poor execution. Officials emphasized that these attacks highlight the futility of armed violence and the growing isolation of terrorist networks in Balochistan.

Authorities reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to protecting citizens and vulnerable communities while continuing targeted counter-terrorism operations to dismantle foreign-sponsored networks. Officials stressed that true accountability lies with BLA’s foreign-based leadership, whose actions continue to endanger Baloch youth without benefiting the local population.
