Iran–US talks in Islamabad could move forward today if Washington agrees to key Iranian pre-conditions, according to reports by Iranian media, signaling a critical moment in ongoing diplomatic efforts.
The high-level Iranian delegation, led by Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, is scheduled to meet Pakistan’s Prime Minister before potentially engaging in formal negotiations with US officials later in the day.
Sources indicate that the start of direct talks hinges on whether the United States accepts Tehran’s предварительные conditions, which include key political, economic, and security demands previously outlined by Iranian leadership.
The Iranian delegation includes Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, who is heading the political committee, while Central Bank Governor Abdolnaser Hemmati leads the economic committee. The military committee is headed by Admiral Ali Akbar Ahmadian, and the legal committee is led by Esmail Baghaei.

The delegation comprises approximately 70 members, including key negotiators and a 26-member technical team representing specialized committees.
