ISLAMABAD (Suno News): After Pakistan’s bold and crushing response to India’s unprovoked military aggression, the entire nation is celebrating a Day of Gratitude today with unmatched national spirit.

The overwhelming success of Operation Bunyanum Marsous, in which Pakistan’s armed forces not only defended the country’s sovereignty but also sent a loud and clear message to the enemy: Pakistan will never tolerate violations of its airspace or national dignity.

The celebrations began early in the morning with Quran recitations and special prayers in mosques across the country. Pakistanis prayed for the safety, strength, and prosperity of the nation and for the martyrs who laid down their lives in defence of the motherland.

A grand show of military pride was witnessed when 31-gun salutes echoed through the capital Islamabad, while 21-gun salutes roared in all four provincial capitals — a symbolic reminder that Pakistan stands united and powerful in the face of aggression.

Moving ceremonies were held at Mazar-e-Quaid and Mazar-e-Iqbal, where high-ranking military officials and government dignitaries paid rich tributes. The guard-changing ceremony was conducted with military precision and honour, reflecting the discipline and commitment of Pakistan’s forces. Public gatherings for flag-hoisting ceremonies were held nationwide, and a sea of green flags flooded the streets.

Citizens visited martyrs’ memorials, offering flowers and prayers. Families of those who sacrificed their lives in Operation Bunyanum Marsous were met with deep respect and gratitude. The entire country stood behind them, echoing the message: Your sacrifice will never be forgotten.

The President of Pakistan, in his powerful statement, declared that Pakistan is ready to use every element of national power to protect its water rights and national sovereignty, and vowed a fitting response to any future aggression.

The main event of the Day of Gratitude will be held tonight at Pakistan Monument in Islamabad, with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif as the chief guest, alongside the Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee and heads of all three armed forces. The nation awaits their addresses with high anticipation.

The real turning point came during the night of May 6–7, when Pakistan’s Air Force shot down five Indian fighter jets, including three Rafale jets — a humiliating loss for India. On May 10, Pakistan went a step further by targeting key Indian military installations, making it clear that Pakistan will never compromise on its independence and territorial integrity.

This brave and calculated response stunned the world. Even within India, serious questions are now being raised about the Modi government’s reckless adventurism and its catastrophic failure on the military front.
