“You have befittingly avenged the loss of lives of innocent Pakistani civilians including children, women and elderly through your bold and effective response,” Gen Munir told frontline troops during his Eidul Azha visit LoC.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), General Asim Munir began his visit with Eid prayers, during which special prayers were offered for the peace, stability, and prosperity of Pakistan. Tributes were paid to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the nation.
General Munir extended heartfelt Eid greetings to the officers and soldiers and praised their unwavering commitment, professional excellence, and resilience in the face of constant challenges. He stated that celebrating Eid on the front lines and being away from family was a noble sacrifice for the higher national cause of defending the homeland.
He lauded the troops for their outstanding performance in operations such as “Marka-e-Haq” (Battle of Truth) and “Operation Bunyān Marsūs” (Operation Solid Foundation), and paid tribute to the martyrs and veterans, saying their sacrifices strengthen the nation s resolve and security.
The Field Marshal emphasized that the Pakistani armed forces are fully prepared to decisively counter any aggression, and have the capability to defeat any misadventure from the enemy. He made it clear that the military is on high alert and ready to protect the country’s sovereignty at all costs.
Reiterating Pakistan’s principled stance on the Kashmir issue, General Asim Munir declared that the brave struggle of the Kashmiri people against Indian occupation will never be forgotten. He emphasized that Pakistan will always stand by the Kashmiri people in their just fight for self-determination.
