(Web Desk): The Pakistan Army successfully repelled a massive cross-border attack launched by militants along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border, killing more than 200 terrorists and capturing 21 Afghan positions.

According to ISPR, the attack occurred late on October 11 and 12, when militants linked to the Afghan Taliban and India-backed Khawarij elements attempted to infiltrate Pakistan’s border posts.

ISPR described the assault as “unprovoked and cowardly,” adding that the army responded with full force, inflicting heavy losses on the attackers.

During the intense exchange of fire, 23 Pakistani soldiers embraced martyrdom while 29 others were injured. The military said the fallen soldiers fought bravely to defend the nation’s sovereignty.

The border region remains tense, but the situation is now under control following the military’s decisive action.
