Under the newly launched program, foreign applicants can obtain visas for one, five, or ten years, depending on the duration of their planned stay. The visa allows participation in cultural projects, research work, festivals, conferences, exhibitions, and other creative initiatives taking place across Oman.

Sponsorship from an approved Omani organization is a key requirement. Eligible sponsors include the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth or other recognized cultural bodies, which will help applicants with documentation and accommodation arrangements.

Applicants must submit a completed form along with supporting documents through the sponsoring organization. Once approved, the visa grants temporary residency and permission to engage in cultural activities. The spouse and children of the applicant may also accompany them, provided their details are included during the application process.

Oman’s cultural visa aims to attract global talent and strengthen artistic and research collaboration. Pakistani creatives can benefit from the program by joining cultural projects, research initiatives, or artistic events, and by showcasing their work on an international platform.
