Petrol prices in Pakistan are expected to decrease in the upcoming fortnightly review for December 2025, following global oil market trends. The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has submitted its recommendations on revised petroleum prices, which will now be reviewed by the Ministry of Finance before final approval.
Expected Price Decline
Reports suggest petrol may drop by Rs3.75 per litre, bringing the expected price to Rs261.7 per litre. High-speed diesel is likely to fall by Rs6.10 per litre, reducing its price to Rs278.34. Light-speed diesel may decrease by Rs6.35 per litre to Rs153.41, while kerosene oil could fall slightly by Rs0.75 paisa, bringing its price to Rs176.06 per litre.
Current Petrol Prices in Pakistan
Currently, as of November 2025, petrol is priced at Rs265.45 per litre, high-speed diesel at Rs284.44, light-speed diesel at Rs159.76, and kerosene oil at Rs176.81 per litre. These revisions are expected to provide relief to consumers and businesses amid rising fuel costs.

When Will New Petrol Prices Be Announced?
The Ministry of Finance will officially announce the new petrol and diesel prices on November 30, 2025, after approval from Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. The revised rates will be effective from December 1 to December 15, 2025, ensuring prices remain in line with international market trends.
