LAHORE: (Suno News) The Lahore High Court (LHC) has rejected the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) application for permission to hold a rally at Minar-e-Pakistan on March 22.

Justice Farooq Haider of the Lahore High Court heard the petition filed by PTI’s Akmal Khan Bari for the March 22 rally. Lahore Deputy Commissioner submitted his report to the court, stating that the request for permission to hold the rally had been rejected and that the rally could not be allowed.

The petitioner argued that PTI planned to hold a rally at Minar-e-Pakistan on March 22, and the Deputy Commissioner had not made a decision on the request for permission. The petitioner requested the court to direct the Deputy Commissioner to decide on the request.

The Lahore High Court dismissed PTI s petition for the March 22 rally at Minar-e-Pakistan, stating that if the petitioner wished, they could challenge the Deputy Commissioner’s decision.

It is noteworthy that PTI had approached the Lahore High Court seeking permission to hold the rally on March 22 at Minar-e-Pakistan.
