The Punjab Central Business District Development Authority (PCBDDA) launched the international bidding process for a world-class five-star hotel and mixed-use complex in CBD Punjab Quaid District. The project covers 41 kanals of prime commercial land and aims to become the country’s largest integrated hospitality and commercial development.
Developed under a Design, Build, Finance, Operate & Maintain (DBFOM) Joint Venture model, the project is targeting renowned international hotel brands, foreign investment groups, and leading global developers. The initiative seeks to bring premium investors to Pakistan while boosting Lahore’s commercial and tourism profile.
CBD Punjab has promoted the project in a leading international publication to attract foreign direct investment (FDI) and highlight Punjab as a competitive destination for real estate and hospitality investment.

CEO of PCBDDA, Imran Amin, said the Al-Watani five-star hotel project marks a defining moment in Punjab’s economic growth. “CBD Punjab is creating high-value, internationally competitive assets. We invite global hospitality leaders and visionary developers to join us in shaping a future-ready Lahore,” he said.
Analysts say this project could transform Lahore’s skyline and generate substantial employment opportunities. The combination of international investment and high-end commercial development may also strengthen Pakistan’s position in the regional tourism and business market.
