The Reagan–Fascell Democracy Fellowship is accepting applications for its 2026 cycle, offering a fully funded five-month residential program in Washington, D.C. The fellowship is open to international applicants from around the world, including Pakistan, and invites mid-career professionals, democracy advocates, journalists, civil society leaders, and scholars to work on independent research related to democratic development.
The program is hosted by the National Endowment for Democracy (NED) and provides a monthly stipend, furnished housing, airfare, local transport, meals, health insurance, and a fully equipped office. The fellowship is designed to give practitioners and scholars an opportunity to study, reflect, and exchange ideas in a global setting.

Two Tracks Available
