(Web Desk): PBCC extends Matric 2026 admission deadlines, giving Punjab students extra time to submit forms with single, double, and triple fees.

The Punjab Boards Committee of Chairmen (PBCC) has announced an extension in the admission schedule for the Matric Annual Examinations 2026, offering major relief to students across the province.

According to the latest notification, the last date to submit admission forms with the single fee has now been extended to December 10, replacing the earlier deadline of November 27. This extension provides an additional 13 days for students to complete their applications without late charges.

Similarly, the deadline for submitting forms with the double fee has been revised to December 23, previously set for December 11. The triple-fee submission date has also been pushed forward to January 6, 2026, instead of the earlier deadline of December 24.

PBCC officials confirmed that the Matric Part-II (Annual-I) examinations will begin on March 3, 2026. All educational boards, exam controllers, and relevant institutions have been directed to ensure strict compliance with the updated schedule.

Officials added that the purpose of the extension is to facilitate students, giving them ample time to submit their fees and avoid last-minute hurdles. The decision is expected to benefit thousands of students and parents who were unable to complete the admission process earlier.

Board authorities emphasized that no student should miss the opportunity to appear in the 2026 matric exams due to fee submission issues. The extended schedule is intended to support timely admissions and ease the pressure on families during the application period.
