ISLAMABAD (Web Desk): The Government of Hungary has announced Stipendium Hungaricum fully funded scholarships 2026-2027.

This program supports Bachelor’s, Master’s, One-Tier Master’s, PhD, and Non-Degree studies at top Hungarian universities.

The Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship was launched in 2013 and is coordinated by the Tempus Public Foundation under Hungary’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade.

Over 30 universities in Hungary participate, and offers more than 800 English taught programs in medicine, engineering, law, IT, business, arts, and more.

Students can apply for two programs in order of preference. Options include full-time Bachelor’s (2–4 years), Master’s (1.5–2 years), One-Tier Master’s (5–6 years, e.g., Medicine, Law), and Doctoral programs (2+2 years).

Non-degree programs include language courses, specialist certificates, or partial studies.

Scholarship Benefits includes:

·        Full tuition fee coverage

·        Monthly stipend: HUF43,700 (Bachelor’s & Master’s), HUF140,000–180,000 (PhD)

·        Free dormitory or housing allowance (HUF40,000/month)

·        Comprehensive health insurance

·        Travel reimbursement to and from Pakistan

Eligibility:

Applicants must be Pakistani citizens, at least 18 years old by 31 August 2026, and hold the required educational qualifications. They must meet English language requirements (IELTS, TOEFL, or equivalent) and apply through Pakistan’s designated Sending Partner. Dual citizenship with Hungary is not allowed.

How to Apply:

The application process is fully online and free. Students should:

·        Check their eligibility on the Hungary Partners Page

·        Browse programs via the Study Finder tool

·        Register and complete the online application

·        Submit to Pakistan’s Sending Partner before the local deadline

·        Await nomination and selection by Hungarian universities

·        Submit medical certificate and final documents by August 1, 2026

Deadline:

Applications open in November 2025 and close on 15 January 2026. Studies will begin in September 2026.
