The HEC need-based scholarship is a valuable initiative to support talented students who are financially weak.
This scholarship aims to provide financial assistance to undergraduate students who have shown good academic potential but are struggling financially.
This scholarship covers tuition fees of deserving undergraduate students, the selection of HEC need-based scholarship is based on
· Academic merit
· Financial need
· Verification of documents
Eligibility criteria:
The applicants must meet the following criteria to secure HEC need-based scholarship.
· Must be a Pakistani citizen
· Must be enrolled in an undergraduate program in Pakistani university
· Must exhibit the financial need
· Must fulfil the academic requirement of 50% marks on equivalent CGPA.
· Must not have another scholarship covering their tuition fee
How to apply:
To apply for the scholarship
1. Visit the official HEC scholarship portal
2. Create an account or login to an existing one
3. Create a new account or log in if you already have one.
4. Fill out the online application form carefully with correct personal and academic details.
5. Upload required documents such as:
1. CNIC or B-Form
2. Academic transcripts and certificates
3. Fee challan or admission proof
4. Income certificate or financial proof
6. Submit the application before the deadline.
7. Take a printout of the submitted application for your records.

Verification of submitted documents
Once the applications for scholarships are reviewed, the selected students list will be published online on the official HEC scholarship portal. Students can check their selection status using their application ID or CNIC.
