(Web Desk): Finland’s top university has opened fully funded scholarships for international students, including Pakistani students to pursue their Bachelor’s and Master’s programs
The University of Eastern Finland (UEF) has invited applications from around the world with generous tuition support on selected Bachelor’s and Master’s programs. Here’s what you need to know.
What Scholarships Offer
100% tuition waiver for one student per program.
Tuition Fee Waiver Up to 50% waiver on tuition fee for selected accepted students.
Finnish Language Waiver for enrolled students achieving Finnish proficiency.
These waivers apply to students from countries like Pakistan (outside the EU/EEA) and are part of UEF’s efforts to attract talented international applicants.
The waivers apply to a wide range of UEF programs such as Accounting and Finance, Digital Marketing and Analytics, International Business and Sales Management, Sustainability Leadership, European Forestry (Erasmus Mundus), English Language and Culture, and Linguistic Data Sciences, among others.

Who Can Apply
- Non-EU/EEA citizens (including Pakistani students).
- Applicants to full-time English-taught Bachelor’s or Master’s programs.
- Candidates meeting UEF’s academic and language proficiency requirements.
- Annual tuition for non-EU/EEA students without a waiver is €10,000.
How to Apply
1. Visit the official portal: https://www.uef.fi/en/admissions
2. Submit your academic transcripts, proof of English proficiency, and required documents online.
3. Indicate in your application that you wish to be considered for a tuition waiver (no separate form is needed for most programs).
4. If selected, your admission letter will confirm the scholarship or tuition waiver.
Key Deadlines
- Applications open in January for autumn 2026 intake.
- Tuition fee payment deadline (for non-waived students): 31 August.
- Scholarships are granted alongside admission decisions — early applications are encouraged.
For Pakistani students, UEF’s scholarship scheme provides an excellent opportunity to study in Finland at a reduced cost.
