In a notification, the education department has revised the timings for schools across Punjab for Ramazan 2025.

According to the notification, classes in regular schools in Punjab are scheduled from 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM on weekdays, and classes will end at 12:30 PM on Friday.

For double-shift schools, the morning classes will operate from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM, while the afternoon session will run from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. On Fridays, the afternoon shift will operate from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM.

In light of the holy month of Ramazan, Sindh also revised school timings. The regular single-shift primary schools are scheduled to operate from 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM. The morning session in double-shift primary schools will be from 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM, while afternoon classes will run from 11:45 AM to 2:45 PM.

Secondary, higher secondary, and elementary schools in Sindh will follow the same timing patterns in Ramazan, with certain modifications in Friday schedule.

The school administrators must act upon these Ramazan timings upon the beginning of the holy month. The authorities’s aim of revising schedule is to facilitate students and staff observing fasts.
