Based on the previous year’s participation of 32,977 candidates nationwide, PMDC is projected to generate approximately Rs2.96 billion in revenue this year.

· Registration Period:
o Opens: August 8, 2025
o Deadline: August 25, 2025
o Late Registration (with additional fee): Until September 1, 2025

Universities administering MDCAT region-wise include:
· Punjab: University of Health Sciences (UHS), Lahore
· Sindh: Sukkur IBA University
· Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: Khyber Medical University (KMU), Peshawar
· Balochistan: Bolan Medical University, Quetta
· Federal Capital, AJK, GB & Overseas (Riyadh): Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Medical University, Islamabad
· The exams must be taken by candidates in their province of domicile
Since 2023, the fee has nearly doubled, causing many families to voice their concerns about the added financial burden and pressure that this highly competitive exam brings. However, despite the backlash, PMDC officials have stated that the increment in fee was necessary to combat rising administrative costs and to maintain the exam’s integrity and quality.
