In this latest phase, 62 additional schools across the province have been added: 16 in Haripur, 11 in Swabi, four each in Abbottabad and Lakki Marwat, three in Lower Dir, four in Nowshera, and one each in Khyber and Mardan.

It was emphasized by officials that in the new afternoon shift, the program will especially focus on children that are working, as it will enable them to work in the morning and attend school in the afternoon. In over 1,000 institutions across KP, the double shift model is already operating.

To maximize student enrollment, the task of accelerating admission campaigns has been directed to district administrations. The program has been lauded as a landmark initiative that promotes literacy and helps marginalized children transition into mainstream classrooms by the provincial leadership and has appreciated the initiative as it supports the province s broader education objectives.
