ISLAMABAD (Web Desk): The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has announced a golden opportunity for Pakistani students — offering fully funded PhD scholarships at top US universities.

According to HEC, Pakistani students will now be able to pursue higher education in more than 300 leading universities in the United States under the Pakistan–US Knowledge Corridor Program.

The commission stated that the deadline for spring 2025 applications is November 15, 2025, and all applications must be submitted only through the official HEC website.

To be eligible, applicants must be citizens of Pakistan or Azad Jammu and Kashmir and have completed at least 16 years of education. The scholarship covers tuition fees, a monthly stipend, medical expenses, and return airfare.

Meanwhile, under the directives of the Government of Pakistan, HEC has also invited applications for a fully funded study support program aimed at talented but financially challenged students across the country.

This program has been designed especially for those who are unable to continue their studies due to financial difficulties. According to HEC, all expenses will be borne by the Government of Pakistan, ensuring that no deserving student misses out on education because of monetary issues.

The scholarship will be available to students enrolled in HEC-recognized universities and will cover those studying in undergraduate degree programs. Selected students will receive financial assistance for tuition fees, books, and other educational needs to help them complete their studies without burden.

HEC’s initiative brings hope for thousands of Pakistani students dreaming of higher education abroad and those struggling to afford studies at home. By offering these fully funded PhD and undergraduate programs, Pakistan aims to promote talent, reduce educational inequality, and build a stronger academic foundation for the future. This could become one of the most impactful education initiatives in years.
