Balochistan Governor Jaffar Khan Mandokhel said that providing jobs to the unemployed youth is a major challenge, but efforts are underway to equip them with modern skills and quality education. The aim is to make them employable globally, reduce unemployment, and uplift the economy.
He highlighted that under the Balochistan Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (B-TEVTA), thousands of applications have already been processed. Screening and training programs are in full swing, with many candidates completing skill-based courses.
Hundreds of youth have already secured employment abroad, especially in Gulf countries, and more are expected to follow. This initiative has been active for a year and continues to grow, creating real hope for jobless families.
The governor added that internet connectivity and modern knowledge are critical tools for today’s generation, though sometimes temporary suspensions are necessary for security reasons. Still, the broader vision remains focused on education, skills, and economic empowerment.
He emphasized that the ultimate goal is to ensure no youth becomes a financial burden on their family but instead contributes to national productivity and economic growth. He also stressed the importance of including youth voices in policymaking to secure their future rights.
