Couple passes CSS exam in first attempt

LAHORE: (Web Desk) A couple has passed the competitive examination of Central Superior Services (CSS) in the first attempt.

The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) recently announced the CSS 2023 result in which 210 aspirants were declared passed. Dr Hajra Niaz and her husband Huzaifa Mughal were among the successful aspirants.

As per details, as many as 13,800 aspirants appeared for the CSS 2023 examination, out of which 408 were declared successful in the written exam.

Out of 408 aspirants, 210 passed the interview and other exams and were allocated to different groups of the civil service. There were 126 men and 84 women among the successful aspirants.

The couple shared their success on the social networking site X, formally Twitter.

“Alhamdulillah, we dreamt it together and achieved it together. Both me and my wife have cleared CSS 2023 and got allocated in the Police Service of Pakistan and Inland Revenue Services respectively,” Huzaifa said in his X post.

Huzaifa Mughal’s wife Hajra also shared a picture with her husband on X and wrote: “I was in second year MBBS when Huzaifa sent proposal to my home. I told him I have my career goals, he said, “To mil k karen ge na.”

Since then, she has bagged several achievements including the Prime Minister Innovation Award, 19 essay awards, BBC mention, Dean’s Honour, Youth Parliamentarian, and CSS in the first attempt.

She also said that she and her husband have always been a support system for each other.

The couple received immense praise and congratulatory messages from people on their success.
