The University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore has officially revealed the dates for the Combined Entrance Test 2026, a mandatory requirement for admission to four-year engineering, computing, and related undergraduate programs in Punjab.
According to the official notification, the computer-based entry test will be conducted from March 30 to April 3, 2026, with candidates appearing on their assigned date and time at designated test centers. While passing the test is essential for eligibility, UET clarified that appearing in the exam does not guarantee admission.
The UET entry test 2026 will be based on Intermediate (FSc) level syllabus and will comprise 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Each question will carry four marks, with no negative marking and no minimum passing marks requirement. Subject combinations will vary by program and may include Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English, Computer Science, and Statistics.

Test centers have been established in Lahore, Multan, Bahawalpur, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Narowal, Sargodha, Rahim Yar Khan, Taxila, and Gujrat. Applicants must select their preferred test center during online registration, which cannot be changed later.
The last date to apply and pay the application fee of Rs. 3,000 is March 22, 2026. Candidates will be able to download their admit cards on March 24, 2026 (evening), while results will be announced on April 17, 2026.
On test day, candidates must bring original identification documents, such as a CNIC, Juvenile CNIC, passport, Matric or Intermediate certificate, or NADRA-issued Form-B with photograph. Latecomers will not be allowed entry under any circumstances.
To facilitate applicants, UET Lahore has arranged support centers to assist with printing application forms and admit cards from January 19 to March 16, 2026, during official working hours.
