All nine educational boards in Punjab have officially announced the complete schedule for the 2026 Matric and Intermediate annual examinations.

According to an official circular, the Matric examination timetable has been revised in view of the holy month of Ramadan. The Matric exams will now begin on March 27, instead of the earlier announced date of March 3. This change aims to ease pressure on students observing fasting during Ramadan. The Matric results are scheduled to be announced on August 6, giving students enough time to plan their next academic steps.

The boards also confirmed that the Intermediate annual examinations will start on May 20. The results for Intermediate students will be declared on September 23. Meanwhile, students appearing in Class 9 can expect their results on September 2, while the First Year Part-I results will be announced on August 22.

In addition to annual exams, the Punjab boards have released the schedule for supplementary examinations. The Matric supplementary exams will begin on October 6, with results expected on December 8. For Intermediate students, supplementary exams will start on November 3, and the results will be announced on January 12, 2027.

Officials clarified that this schedule will be implemented uniformly across all nine Punjab boards, ensuring consistency for students throughout the province. Education experts say the early announcement of dates will help students, parents, and institutions plan studies and admissions more effectively.
