(Web Desk): HEC postpones Balochistan’s HAT and USAT exams scheduled for February 1 due to security issues in Quetta, urging candidates to check official websites for updated schedules.

The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has postponed two major entrance exams in Balochistan, including the Higher Education Aptitude Test (HAT) and Undergraduate Studies Admission Test (USAT), initially scheduled for February 1, 2026.

The postponement is limited to Balochistan due to heightened security concerns, while exams in other provinces will continue as planned. HEC assured students that new dates will be announced soon, advising them to stay updated via official HEC and Education Testing Council portals.

In response to the security situation, mobile and internet services in Quetta were temporarily suspended to maintain law and order. Authorities emphasized continued coordination between security agencies to ensure public safety.
