Meanwhile, Minister of State for Finance Bilal Azhar Kayani said that the deal with the US is a very welcome development for our economy. Our team held constant negotiations, which resulted in the signing of this deal.
Bilal Azhar Kayani said that as a result of this deal, tariffs on goods going from Pakistan to the United States will be reduced, and this tariff reduction will have a huge impact.
It should be noted that US President Trump, on Wednesday, posted on his Truth Social account announcing trade deal with Pakistan. He stated “We have just concluded a deal with the country of Pakistan, whereby Pakistan and the United States will work together on developing their massive oil reserves. We are in the process of choosing the oil company that will lead this partnership.”
