According to the Indian media, the senior actor was admitted to a Kolkata hospital on the morning of February 10, with complaints of chest pain and weakness in his upper and lower limbs, where he underwent a brain MRI and other tests.
After the MRI report came, it was found that Mithun Chakraborty had cerebral palsy after which his treatment was underway.
Doctors say that Mithun Chakraborty is fully conscious, his health has improved, and he is being administered drips for strength and given soft food.
The doctors add that before discharging Mithun Chakraborty from the hospital, he will undergo further medical examination so that he does not face any difficulties after going home.
A video of Mithun Chakraborty from the hospital is also going viral on social media in which Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) West Bengal chief Sukanta Majumdar is inquiring after the actor’s health.
It should be noted here that on the morning of February 10, Mithun Chakraborty was on his way home from the shooting of his new film when his condition suddenly deteriorated after which he was shifted to the hospital.
