According to the reports, the drug authority seized the counterfeit medicines of famous medicine companies. In a statement, the Drug Testing Laboratory has confirmed that the medicine which seized during an inspection were counterfeit.

Drug Testing Laboratory head has cautioned the public against buying the certain batches, including Neubrol Fort (Batch DB0982), Phenobar (Batch QA008), and Iodex HIAA due to their identification as counterfeit.

Moreover, the authorities have appealed citizens to buy medicines only from registered pharmacies to ensure safety and authenticity.

Earlier, in the various districts in Punjab, the Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP) seized 11 counterfeit medicines.

DRAP declared Aerosaf and Taramakin substandard and imposed an outright ban on their sale.
