Celebrities, reality show stars, models and a bunch of A-listers have travelled to Venice just to celebrate the glamorous wedding of the couple.

The range of celebrities includes the Kardashian-Jenner family, Orlando Bloom, Bill Gates, Trump’s daughter Ivanka and many more.

It will be a 3-day-long event that will end on Saturday with a party for the VIP guests and couple. Climate-change activists and locals combating over-tourism are just some of the groups in Venice protesting against the wedding.

Reports have indicated that the wedding will cost $56 million, or more than Rs.15 billion, making it the most expensive wedding in the world.

Jeff Bezos, 61, got engaged to his girlfriend, 55-year-old American journalist and anchor Lauren Wendy Sanchez, in 2023.The Amazon founder and American journalist confirmed their relationship in January 2019 when Bezos announced his divorce from his wife, Mackenzie Scott. Bezos and Mackenzie were married for 26 years and have 4 children.

Similarly, Lauren Wendy Sanchez also divorced her husband, Patrick Whitesell, 4 years ago. They have 2 children after 13 years of marriage.
