Famous fashion designer Maria Butt, widely known as Maria B, has rejected reports that she received an official government notice related to her public statements defending Islamic family values. She said the document being circulated online may be fabricated and that she would respond formally only if she receives an authentic notice through official channels.
The document in question, which went viral on social media, claimed that Maria B had been served a warning for her outspoken views. However, she clarified on her Instagram that no such communication had officially reached her and questioned how a supposedly internal letter made its way to the internet before being sent to her.
“I will always speak about Islam and work to protect the future of our children,” she stated, reaffirming her position on upholding Islamic principles and traditional family structures.
NO YOU CANT SCARE ME.... I WILL ALWAYS SPEAK ABOUT ISLAM and defend the Islamic Family system Insha Allah 🤲

Maria B is not just known for her clothing brand; in recent years, she has become a vocal figure in Pakistan’s cultural debates. She has used her platform to speak out against what she sees as cultural shifts and policy decisions that, in her opinion, threaten the integrity of the Islamic family system.
Her recent criticism of educational content and modern family dynamics sparked both praise and backlash online. Supporters see her as a bold voice for conservative values, while critics argue her stance may be divisive in a society already grappling with issues of identity and reform.
In her latest message, Maria expressed concern over the way official matters are being handled publicly. “If this is real, why was it leaked before it was even sent to me?” she asked. “This isn’t just about me, it’s about the future of our nation’s values.”
