Rajinikanth’s latest film Coolie continues to shatter box office records, surpassing ₹300 crore worldwide in just four days, as reported by media officials.
At the box office, Rajinikanth s action-packed blockbuster Coolie is making history. The movie made over ₹160 crore in India on Day 4, surpassing its incredible ₹300 crore worldwide total.
This surpasses Rajinikanth s own first hits, such as Jailer and Vettaiyan, and makes Coolie the fastest Tamil film to reach the ₹300 crore mark.
Coolie made between ₹140 and ₹170 crore on Day 1 alone, with ₹65 crore coming from India and ₹75 crore from foreign markets, marking the start of the journey.
The movie shot to ₹245 crore worldwide on Day 2, and Day 3 took it even higher, making it one of the greatest Tamil openers ever.
In the meantime, War 2, featuring Jr. NTR and Hrithik Roshan, is doing well at the box office.
On its first day, it brought in ₹51.5 crore, and by day 3, it had surpassed ₹100 crore.
War 2 has amassed ₹150 crore worldwide as of day 4. Although these are impressive figures, Coolie s record-breaking performance is still far ahead of them.
This box office struggle shows Rajinikanth s unstoppable fame, as Coolie not only becomes a financial success but also a global cinematic phenomenon that pushes the boundaries of South Indian cinema.
By earning about ₹50 crore globally on Day 5, Coolie extended its incredible run and increased its total to over ₹350 crore.
On this day alone, the movie made about ₹28 crore at home and ₹22 crore abroad.
On Day 5, War 2 added ₹18 crore worldwide, bringing its total revenue to roughly ₹168 crore.
As the difference between the two movies keeps growing, Coolie s commanding lead at the box office is cemented.
