A person named Shahid Rafique from Qatar has leveled serious allegations against Reema and her sister, Maira Khan.
According to Shahid Rafique, he returned to Pakistan from Qatar in 2009 to purchase property in Lahore. During this time, he met Maira Khan, who was a real estate dealer. Instead of advising him to invest in property, Maira suggested he invest in her sister Reema Khan’s film ‘Love Mein Gum’.
Shahid Rafique claims that Maira Khan convinced him to invest Rs5 to Rs6 million in the film, assuring him of a good profit. A meeting with Reema Khan was arranged, after which he provided the required funds for the film. However, he alleges that after this, further demands for money began.
Shahid Rafique states that he was also invited to Malaysia during the film’s shooting, where he stayed with the film team for 20 to 25 days. He says that after the completion of the film, instead of getting his money back, he was asked for more investment.
Shahid Rafique claims that Reema Khan entered into an agreement with him, and he possesses evidence and bank statements to support his case. However, later Reema Khan filed a defamation suit against him for Rs200 million. “It is important to clarify who committed the fraud,” said Shahid Rafique.
According to Shahid Rafique, he filed a case in the civil court, where the judge stated that Reema Khan had committed fraud of Rs20.10 million. Rafique claims that Reema Khan has lost this case in the civil and sessions court, and has now obtained a stay order from the high court. He asserts that the court has ordered the actress to appear, but she is delaying the process through various petitions.
Reema Khan is a famous Pakistani film personality, known for her work in acting, direction, and production. She has worked in films such as ‘Bulandi’, ‘Nikah’, ‘Haathi Mera Saathi’, and ‘Chor Machaye Shor’.
Shahid Rafique is determined to win his case in court and claims to have all the necessary evidence. On the other hand, no recent statement has been issued by Reema Khan regarding these allegations. The final verdict of the case will reveal the truth.
