Speaking on a show, Nadia Afghan shared that the third season of the popular Ramadan series had been written, contracts were finalized, and preparations were already underway.

She said, “It was coming. In fact, it was supposed to happen this Ramadan you would have seen it by now.”

The actress explained that the delay was because of Iqra Aziz’s pregnancy, describing it warmly as “something in the family.” This meant the production could not continue as originally planned.

Nadia Afghan added that the project had already progressed significantly. “We had contracts. We had talked about it.

We had to go to London; only me and Tipu, Iqra of course, and Farhan,” she said, hinting that part of Suno Chanda 3 was to be filmed abroad.

The original Suno Chanda became a Ramadan sensation in 2018, and its sequel solidified its place as one of Pakistan’s most loved Ramadan comedies.

Its light-hearted family story and the chemistry between Arsal and Jiya made it a seasonal favorite.
