Content creator Meiraj Haq has publicly challenged podcaster Adnan Faisal over his comments about the Hania Aamir podcast controversy, accusing him of hypocrisy in how he handles guest appearances.
According to Haq, Faisal’s team once approached him to appear on the podcast on the condition that Haq pay Rs285,000 himself, even though Faisal has often said he does not pay guests for appearing on his show.
The dispute relates back to a widely discussed claim that actress Hania Aamir had asked for Rs2 million to appear on Faisal’s podcast, a figure Faisal has repeated during television appearances and which sparked debate online about celebrity podcast fees.
Haq shared what he said was proof of the request from Faisal’s team, saying he declined because he does not pay to be interviewed.

After making his claims, other creators also claimed similar approaches, suggesting that some had been asked to pay for featured slots, not the other way around.
