Shortly after the 21-year-old influencer was detained at Dubai Airport on Saturday over unverified allegations, he was released.
Later that day, Rozik’s management confirmed he had been released on conditional bail. His team stressed that Abdu Rozik was only detained, not arrested, and that he provided explanations before he was freed from detainment. His team also warned that legal action will be taken against baseless rumours in order to protect his reputation.
Rozik, who holds a UAE Golden Visa and has been based in Dubai for several years, landed from Montenegro early Saturday morning. He was taken into custody around 5 a.m., as reported by sources familiar with the incident.

A video was posted by Rozik from the India International Influencers Awards on July 12, held at Hyatt Regency Dubai Creek Heights, shortly after he was released. In the video, he did not mention anything about his detainment and is seen accepting the award.
Rozik, standing just over 3 feet tall, rose to fame through his music, viral videos, and reality TV appearances, including India’s Bigg Boss 16.
He made his boxing debut in 2024 in Dubai and also launched a restaurant brand in the UK. In addition, during an investigation in India’s 2024 Enforcement Directorate probe, Rozik was questioned but not charged.
With the incident now resolved, Rozik’s supporters are eagerly awaiting further updates. No official statements have emerged from Dubai authorities or the Dubai Media Office, and the exact nature of the complaint remains undisclosed.
