Dua divulged that the ring was made specifically for her. Her fiancé, Callum Turner, turned to her sister, Rina, and her close companions for consultation. "I m obsessed with it," she said. "It s so me. Dua Lipa and Callum started their relationship in January 2024, even though they would post about each other occasionally via lovey-dovey Instagram posts, giving fans cute tidbits of their soft-launched relationship. The relationship was still kept majorly private; however, Vogue reported that this year they attended the 2025 Met Gala coming out in the open, kickstarting their official red carpet debut. Callum wore a custom Louis Vuitton suit in black that went well with Dua Lipa s black Chanel halter dress with a low-cut V-neckline.

Despite the red carpet debut and making things official, the wedding isn t going to be happening anytime soon. "I want to finish my tour, Callum s shooting, so we re just enjoying this period." Dua said, "I ve never been someone who s really thought about a wedding or dreamt about what kind of bride I would be. All of a sudden, I m like,  Oh, what would I wear? "

The co-founder of London s River Café introduced Dua Lipa and Callum Turner to each other. In Los Angeles, when Dua was having dinner with poet Mustafa Ahmed, she saw Callum Turner and recognised him as "that really hot guy from The River Cafe," commencing the start of their reconnection. Both of the bookworms bonded over books, specifically Hernan Diaz s Trust and secured their bonds.

Since their relationship was open to the public eye in 2024, the couple kept their relationship on the down low with some appearances here and there, such as spending their holidays in Mexico together and going to the Glastonbury music festival, where in October Dua Lipa headlined when she posted a photo with the caption "Post-show fun and so much love! in which, Callum Turner was kissing her cheek.

Both partners are balancing hectic activities as they look to the future.  Callum s upcoming projects include a television adaptation of William Gibson s Neuromancer and Luca Guadagnino s war satire Atropia.  In the meantime, Dua is still on her Radical Optimism world tour, which will take her to Madison Square Garden in New York as well as other locations in Australia and North America.
