Shefali Jariwala, star of ‘Kaanta Laga’, passes away at 42
(Web Desk): Shefali Jariwala, Big Boss 13 fame, actress and the star of the “Kaanta Laga” music video, has passed at the age of 42 from cardiac arrest.

Shefali had suffered a cardiac arrest late Friday night and her husband, Parag Tyagi, was with her when Bellevue Multispeciality Hospital in Mumbai declared her dead on arrival, as per initial reports.

Her husband and television actor Parag Tyagi along with 3 other individuals brought Shefali to the hospital. However, before reaching the faculty, Shefali had already died, as per hospital sources.

A member of the hospital reception stated that, “Shefali had expired before she was brought in. Her husband and a few others accompanied the body.”

Medical professional Dr Sushant said, “We are sending the body for post-mortem to Cooper Hospital.” Cardiologist Dr Vijay Lulla, because of confidentiality reasons, did not provide any more details when the Resident Medical Officer asked questions.

The news of Shefali Jariwala’s death has broken the internet and shocked fans and celebrities alike. Shefali s rise to fame was due to her role in the “Kaanta Laga” music video remix of a classic Hindi song; she quickly became a household name, cementing herself as a pop icon of the 2000s.

Shefali’s appearance in Big Boss 13 earned her a massive fan following from fans and admiration from celebrities because of her bold opinions, honesty and views on mental health. She openly spoke about personal challenges on her platform.

Fans are shocked and cannot believe that the beloved pop icon has passed away. 

Her death is even more surprising because just a few days ago she had posted a picture of herself on Instagram in which she wore a stunning silver jumpsuit with a plunging neckline.

Although the complete post-mortem report is still pending, preliminary findings point to cardiac arrest as the most likely cause of death.
