Hania Amir’s role as the female lead was confirmed on Sunday evening by Diljit when he shared the trailer on social media.
The film is going to be released on 27 June, but due to the recent conflict between Pakistan and India the film is not going to be released in India and the trailer for the movie is not available on YouTube India either.
It was speculated that because of the Pahalgam attack on 22 April, Hania wouldn’t appear in the film and thus be replaced.

The Pahalgam attack resulted in a war between the two countries and escalated regional tensions, calling for an outright ban on Pakistani actors in the Indian film industry.
However, despite this, Pakistani actors including Nasir Chinyoti, Daniel Khawar, and Saleem Albela are in the movie alongside Hania Amir.
The trailer cannot be seen on YouTube India. If Indian users try to view it, they are met with the message, “The uploader has not made this video available in your country.” The trailer has not only diminished the rumours about Hania s removal from the film but has also confirmed her continued involvement in the movie.
Due to the presence of Pakistani actors in the film, the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) earlier this month asked the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) to deny the release of the film.
Sardaar ji 3 will not be released in Indian cinemas by filmmakers to avoid further controversy.
The trailer featuring Hania Amir is blocked in india but Indian fans can still view the songs and teasers online.
India s Operation Sindhoor was criticised by Hania Amir, due to which her Instagram account is also blocked in India.
Hania’s involvement in the film has sparked both enthusiasm and criticism online. The relationship between Pakistan and India as of now is more fragile than ever before and her appearance in the trailer has stirred the pot even further.
