Starring Pakistani superstar Fawad Khan and Indian actress Vaani Kapoor, the film mixes style, drama, and humor, culminating in a refreshingly bold ending that breaks away from typical rom-com clichés.
The story revolves around Vaani Kapoor’s character; a wealthy and strong-willed woman whose controlling father plans her future and arranges her marriage.
When her family cuts her off financially, she moves to London determined to prove her independence.
Her survival plan? Teaching Bollywood dance classes and taking up an internship at a trendy restaurant.
It’s there that she meets Abir, a serious yet charming chef played by Fawad Khan. Their relationship begins with playful banter, gradually growing into a deeper connection. The chemistry between the leads feels genuine and engaging.

Reviews:
According to media officials, “natural chemistry between Khan and Kapoor, which elevates an otherwise predictable plot."
As per the media news noted, "Despite its flaws, Aabeer Gulaal offers a charming escape with its glossy visuals and heartfelt moments."
Filmfare highlighted the "bold, unconventional ending that sets the film apart from typical Bollywood rom-coms."
However, the film isn’t without its flaws. The pacing suffers due to a lengthy runtime and unnecessary cameos, including one by Lisa Haydon that adds little to the story.
But the final 15 minutes pack an emotional punch with an unexpected ending that adds depth and heart to the film.
With its polished visuals, catchy soundtrack, and strong performances from the leads, Aabeer Gulaal offers an enjoyable watch, even if it doesn’t completely break new ground.
