According to prices shared by All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the 10-gram gold was sold at Rs235,940.

However, price of gold in international market remained steady. As per APGJSA, the rate was at $2,640 per ounce (with a premium of $20) during the day.

Yesterday, gold prices increased by Rs700 per tola in local market.

Meanwhile, silver prices remained stable at Rs3,400 per tola.

The rate of 24-karat gold in Saudi Arabia is established at 3,710 Saudi Riyals (SAR) per tola on Wednesday, December 4, 2024.

Experts are of the view that this is the apposite time to buy gold for multitude purposes including for making jewellery and trading. The price could be soared in in local market during wedding season. So, it is advisable to buy gold these days.
