The local currency closed at Rs280.11, compared to the previous day’s close of Rs280.12.
According to the Forex Association of Pakistan, the buying rate of the Dollar in the open market stood at Rs280.75, while the selling rate was recorded at Rs283. This shows limited movement in the open market.

The Euro weakened during the session. Data from the State Bank of Pakistan showed the Euro closing at Rs328.75, down by Rs0.10 from its previous close of Rs328.85.
The Japanese Yen remained unchanged and closed at Rs1.78. Meanwhile, the British Pound saw a slight drop of Rs0.13 and ended the day at Rs377.04, compared to Rs377.17 a day earlier.
In Gulf currencies, the Emirates Dirham slipped by 01 paisa to close at Rs76.26. The Saudi Riyal showed no movement and remained stable at Rs74.69.

The currency market stayed mostly stable. Small changes suggest controlled demand for dollars. Major foreign currencies showed mild weakness. Overall sentiment remains calm for now.
