This is the second consecutive LPG price increase in 2026, following a Rs 10.68 per kilogram rise in January. OGRA attributed the adjustments to fluctuations in Saudi Aramco’s contract price (CP) and foreign exchange rates affecting domestic fuel costs.
The regulator emphasized that LPG prices in Pakistan are tied to international benchmarks, ensuring transparency and aligning local rates with global market trends. Commercial cylinders have also been adjusted, impacting businesses nationwide.
