The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association reported that the price of 24-karat gold went up by Rs2,300, reaching Rs438,862 per tola, compared to the previous rate of Rs436,562. The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also rose, increasing by Rs1,972 to Rs376,253 from Rs374,281.
Similarly, 10 grams of 22-karat gold recorded an increase of Rs1,808, moving up to Rs344,911 against yesterday’s Rs343,103.
In the global market, gold traded at $4,165 per ounce, which reflects a rise of $23 from its earlier level of $4,142.
Silver prices followed the same trend. Silver per tola increased by Rs60, reaching Rs5,482 from Rs5,422, while 10 grams of silver went up by Rs51 to Rs4,699, compared to Rs4,648 a day earlier. Internationally, silver was priced at $52.10 per ounce.
