In the international market, gold prices also showed a major drop. The price of gold fell by $100 to $5,172 from $5,272. On the other hand, silver gained $1.0 and reached $85.20 from $84.20, the Association added.
This sharp fall in gold prices has surprised many traders. Some believe it is a temporary correction after record highs. Others think global economic uncertainty is pushing prices up and down quickly.
If the trend continues, more buyers may enter the market. But experts warn that gold remains sensitive to global changes. Investors are advised to stay careful and watch international prices before making big decisions.
