The rise added fresh concern for buyers already dealing with frequent market shifts.
The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also went up by Rs428, reaching Rs380,282. Similarly, 10 grams of 22-karat gold rose by Rs392 to Rs348,604, showing a steady upward trend.
International prices contributed to the movement, with global gold rates increasing by $5 to $4,212.
Silver followed the same direction. Per tola silver climbed by Rs85 to reach Rs6,452, while 10 grams of silver increased by Rs73 to touch Rs5,531. International silver prices also went up by $0.85, settling at $61.80.

The steady rise in gold and silver shows that the market is facing strong global pressure. Buyers are becoming more cautious as prices keep climbing. If international rates stay high, local prices may continue to rise in the coming days.
