According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of gold per tola has decreased by Rs900, bringing it down to Rs298,700 per tola.

Likewise, the price of 10 grams of gold has also dropped by Rs772, now costing Rs256,087.

Gold prices worldwide have also fallen. After this decrease, the global market price of gold is now 2,859 dollars per ounce, down by 9 dollars.

Recently, gold prices had reached record highs, which caused concern among the public. However, today s small decrease has brought some calm to the market.

Economists say that the rise and fall of gold prices depend on the global economic situation, the value of the dollar, and other economic factors. The buying and selling activities of gold buyers and sellers also affect prices.
