The oil industry has sent a working paper on petroleum products to OGRA. OGRA will send a summary of the changes in the prices of petroleum products on May 31.
According to sources, the price of petrol per liter is likely to be reduced by RS0.61 and the price of high-speed by RS0.28 per liter from June 1. The price of kerosene is likely to be increased by RS0.21 and the price of light diesel by RS1.30 per liter.

According to the OGRA working paper, the government will take the final decision in consultation with the Prime Minister. The Ministry of Finance will issue a notification with the final approval of the Prime Minister. The government can also exercise the power to reduce or increase relief on petroleum products.
