ISLAMABAD: (Snow News) The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has welcomed the tough economic decisions in the budget during virtual talks with Pakistan.

As per official sources, the IMF commended the positive role of political parties in the approval of the budget and the reduction of tax exemptions for improving the economy.

The IMF delegation may reach Pakistan in the last week of June to discuss the new loan programme. Pakistan has implemented the preconditions before the new IMF programme.

Moreover, Pakistan has also made progress in achieving most of the earlier targets ahead of the new loan programme. The IMF expects the budget for the next financial year to be approved by June 28 or 29.

On the other hand, after the increase in tax in the federal government budget, new prices of CD 70 and CG 125 — the most popular motorcycle models of Honda in Pakistan — have come to the surface.

The price of Honda CD 70 has reached up to Rs157,900 while that of Honda CD 70 Dream has reached up to Rs168,900. The price of Honda Pridor is Rs208,900.

Similarly, the price of Honda CG 125 is Rs223,900 while that of Honda CG 125 Special Edition is Rs282,900.

It is to be noted here that Honda CD70 and Honda CG125 are the most popular motorcycle models in Pakistan due to their robustness and economy.
