Arab media reported that the digital portal has been activated to maintain visa applications as part of the government’s efforts to boost tourism under Kuwait Vision 2035.
The platform offers four types of visas — tourist, family, business, and official — all accessible through a single online system, simplifying entry procedures for visitors with various travel purposes.
Visa Categories:
- Tourist Visa: Allows visitors to explore Kuwait’s cultural and recreational attractions, with a stay of up to three months.
- Family Visa: Permits Kuwait residents to invite close relatives for visits of up to 30 days.
- Business Visa: Designed for representatives of foreign companies attending meetings, conferences, or business negotiations, valid for 30 days.
- Official Visa: Reserved for government delegations and diplomatic missions.

Initially introduced in August 2025, the platform is now fully operational.
Kuwait’s Minister of Information and Culture and Minister of State for Youth Affairs, Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi, said that “Visit Kuwait” will serve as the country’s central digital tourism gateway, offering not only e-visa services but also detailed information about cultural events, recreational sites, and heritage activities.
The initiative is seen as a key step in Kuwait’s ongoing efforts to modernize its travel infrastructure, attract more international visitors, and strengthen its position as a regional tourism hub.
