(Web Desk): Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has appeared in public for the first time after recent military tensions between Iran and Israel.

According to international media, Ayatollah Khamenei participated in the Shab-e-Ashura mourning gathering in Tehran, where he was received with immense respect. The crowd chanted slogans such as Labbaik Ya Hussain, Death to Israel, and tributes to the Supreme Leader, filling the atmosphere with emotion and devotion.

In recent months, Iran and Israel have experienced escalating tensions. After Israeli airstrikes targeted various locations in Syria and Iran, Tehran responded by striking Israeli defense installations. These attacks caused destruction to multiple military sites and raised fears of an all-out war between the two nations.

Later after US mediation the ceasefire was brought out between the two countries. However, even after the ceasefire Iran Supreme leader was absent from all fronts.

During these strained times, Ayatollah Khamenei’s prolonged absence from the public eye sparked speculation both in local and international media. Some reports suggested he had been moved to an undisclosed location due to security concerns, while others questioned his health. However, his appearance at the Ashura gathering in Tehran has put all such rumors to rest.

Though Ayatollah Khamenei did not deliver a speech, his presence alone sent a strong message to both the public and the government—that the Supreme Leader remains safe and stands with his people. His participation in the Ashura ceremony is being seen as a powerful act of solidarity and reverence for the spirit of Muharram and the memory of the martyrs of Karbala.
